When I was in college, I bought a wooden 1930s toolbox from a thrift store. Inside was a rack of old Great Neck saws that, with a little clean up, still functioned. What a joy it was to get to work with the brand on a redesign. Great Neck has been around since 1919 and is the largest privately owned tool manufacturer in the US. The brand identity is strong but friendly and accessible for hobbyists.
